I have tried many different brands of purple shampoo, ash blonde dye and toners such as manic panic and directions. It hasn't made much difference. It just looks patchy and I would really like my hair to be a lovely consistent platinum blonde/white colour....

sierrramarrrie asked: So i have really dark hair, and i have mostly used box color whenever i want to color my hair. I really want to bleach it out and be blonde/silver/purpleish buut i am scarred how my hair will react to the bleach, considering the all the layers of box color on it. So my question is should i just go for it all over, and bleach it a few times? or what are your opinions on that?

buddha-baby asked: I have been lightening my hair all summer to get to white but i'm still having trouble. Last night I bleached my hair and used manic panic virgin snow, my hair still has lots of yellow in it. I was wondering if I applying a toner, such as virgin snow, would be effective if I don't bleach immediately before. Also, is toner as damaging as bleach?
